«ISSUES OF MODERN ORIENTAL STUDIES »

Department of Oriental Linguistic and Country Studies of Faculty of International Relations of Belarusian State University on July 1-2, 2021 holds I International Scientific-Practical Conference «ISSUES OF MODERN ORIENTAL STUDIES ».

The purpose of the conference is to discuss the widest range of topical issues associated with the study of the countries of the East:

  • oriental languages;
  • literature;
  • culture;
  • religion;
  • philosophy;
  • history;
  • economy;
  • politics
  • society, etc.

Lecturers, researchers, specialists, undergraduates, graduate students and students engaged in research in the field of oriental disciplines are invited to participate in the conference.

For undergraduates and postgraduates, articles are accepted for publishing only if a review signed by the thesis supervisor is provided. For students, the publication of articles is provided only in co-authorship with their supervisors.

Official languages: Russian, Belarusian, English.

To take part in the conference, please:

Registration is opened till April 25, 2021.

No more than one individually written article and one article in co-authorship are accepted from one person.

Invitation and the programme of the conference will be sent to the participants after the scientific review and acceptance of the abstracts for the participation till June 1, 2021.

The organizing committee reserves the right to select the submitted materials for publication, including checking the text of the article for plagiarism. Materials that are not submitted on time or do not meet the requirements will not be considered.

Materials of the conference will be published in printed and electronic form and indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI). The organizing committee considers the author's application for participation in the conference and the provision of the text of the article as consent to posting the article in the public domain.

The publication is free.

Conference participation from: on-site participation. Due to the epidemiological situation, foreign participants and non-residents of Minsk will be able to take part in a remote format. Absentee participation is not expected.

Travel expenses related to the arrival and accommodation of speakers shall be borne by the sending party or personally by the conference participant.

Conference participation certificate can be provided by e-mail upon request.
