Instructions for Authors

The articles should meet the requirements of novelty, relevance, sufficiency and practical significance. The articles are accepted in electronic format Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx formats).

The file with the article should be named according to author’s surname. If there are several authors, the article file should be named according to the surname of the first author: Ivanov.doc.

Size of margins: top – 26 mm, bottom – 34 mm, left – 26 mm, right – 29 mm. Mirror margins. Pages should not be numbered.

Structure of the article

  1. Title.

Maximum title length is 10–12 words.

The title is typed according to the next parameters: Times New Roman, 14 pt size, bold straight font, capital letters, center alignment, without paragraph indention, space after the title – 18 pt.

  1. Initials and surname of the author(s).

Parameters: Times New Roman, 12 pt size, light font, italic, center alignment, without paragraph indention, space after – 18 pt.

  1. Affiliation.

The name of organization where the author works (street, the number of the house), postcode, country, e-mail. If there are several authors, the names of all should be mentioned. It is necessary to point out the corresponding author. Parameters: Times New Roman, 11 pt size, light font, italic, center alignment, without paragraph indention, space after – 20 pt.

  1. Abstract.

The abstract should be informative, original, structured; it should cover principle article content and research results. The annotation should include description of the main subject, problem, object, goal of research, value of research results, and practical relevance of these results. The annotation should reflect new aspects of the scientific article in comparison with other correspondent articles (i.e. articles of the same topic and purpose). The abbreviations should be transcribed. The abstract volume – 90-100 words.

Parameters: Times New Roman, 12 pt size, light straight font, justified alignment, indention 10 mm, space after – 12 pt.

  1. Key words.

Key words may be either separate words or phrases (singular number, Nominative case). It is suggested 5–7 key words in Russian and English languages, at most 3 key words in the key phrase.

Parameters: Times New Roman, 11 pt size; for phrase “key words” bold font, italic; for key words - light straight font; justified alignment, indention 10 mm, space after – 12 pt. Key words should be separated by a semicolon, at the end of the sentence, you should add a period.

  1. Article information arrangement example:

SEMANTIC PRIMITIVE HUMAN REALIZATION IN THE RADICAL LIST OF CHINESE HIEROGLYPHIC WRITING

The article deals with the problem of defining the minimal meaningful unit of Chinese writing. The research is based on the theoretical basis of combinatory semantics and the theories of the semantic primitives and bi-element structure of a sign. In the article the author, taking semantic primitive human as an example, gives evidence to the fact that various lists of basic elements of the Chinese writing include many signs that can be further decomposed.

  1. The text of a publication.

The recommended length of the manuscript, including tables, figures and references – 4–6 typewritten pages of A4 size. The abbreviations should be transcribed (except for common abbreviations), shortened forms of words shouldn’t be used. You can only use following shortened forms: etc., i.e., cm, km. Roman numerals should be used for centuries: VI century (XIX-XX centuries). If you mention native surnames and initials, initials should be written before surname, with an embedded space (A. I. Ivanov).

Parameters: Times New Roman, 14 pt size, light straight font, justified alignment, indention 1,25 mm, single line spacing.

  1. References.

 References to the bibliographic sources should be written in square brackets (e.g. [1, p. 3]).  Each source should have its counting number in the list.

Parameters: Times New Roman, 12 pt size, light straight font (for word REFERENCES: capital letters, center alignment, without paragraph indention), justified alignment, indention 1,25 mm, single line spacing.

References should be arranged after the text of article. References to the bibliographic sources should be arranged in accordance with their citation (mentioning).
